I work in many roles and have many different interests. I am a PhD graduate from the University of Tasmania, school of Engineering and ICT. My current research has investigated the use of mobile phones by international students when seeking support information. It sits within the field of Information Science, and Human Information Behaviour.

My background is in Computer Sciences and Graphic Design, i have been a freelance (personal) website designer and developer for many years, and build and design websites starting from requirements through to development and ongoing maintenance or support. I can build from scratch, but prefer to work with open source content management systems, including Drupal, WordPress, Joomla and Moodle.

I am currently working for the Council of Australian University Librarians (CAUL) in Communication and Policy at ANU.
